Houses, townhomes, and apartments
Single-family homes in The Colony, Frisco, and McKinney usually mean driveway access, a garage, and a lot of outdoor items such as grills, patio sets, and playsets. We plan the truck load around the big pieces first.
Apartments and townhomes bring elevator bookings, loading-zone rules, stair carries, and tighter time windows. We ask about all of it during the estimate so the quote reflects the real work.
Families with a lot of outdoor gear often find it easiest to have the garage and patio loaded first, so the rest of the day is spent inside out of the sun.
How we protect your home
Before anything is carried, door frames get padded, banisters are wrapped, and runners go down on hard floors and carpet. Furniture is covered in moving blankets and stretch film, and drawers are secured so nothing slides out on the stairs.
The same protection goes up at the new house. You should not be able to tell a crew was there except that everything is in the right room.
Anything you would prefer we not touch, such as a gun safe with a separate specialist or a piece already sold, is simply pointed out during the walk-through and left where it sits.
Moving in Texas summer
Between June and September, we recommend the earliest start your building or neighborhood allows. The crew loads the heaviest items first while it is cooler, keeps the truck closed between carries, and takes scheduled water breaks.
Items that soften or spoil in heat, such as candles, cosmetics, and certain foods, are best carried in your own car. We will flag them during the walk-through.
HOA and community requirements
Many neighborhoods and buildings in the northern suburbs have rules about moving hours, where a truck may park, and whether an elevator must be reserved. Some ask for a certificate of insurance from the mover.
Check with your HOA or leasing office two weeks ahead and send us the requirements. We have worked in most of the larger communities and will arrive compliant.
The finish matters as much as the start
At the new home, beds are reassembled, dressers and tables put back together, and boxes placed in the rooms you name. We walk the truck with you before leaving to confirm nothing is left behind.
If you have booked unpacking, the crew keeps going until the kitchen is usable and the cardboard is gone.
