Local work covers anything inside the greater Dallas and Fort Worth area. It is billed by the crew and the hours, with the clock starting at your door and stopping when the last piece is placed.
We do a lot of hops between the northern suburbs, from The Colony to Frisco, Plano to McKinney, and Carrollton to Denton, so the crews know the neighborhoods, the gated communities, and where a truck can and cannot turn.
Because local jobs are hourly, we are honest about what adds time: long carries from a parking spot to a third-floor unit, heavy items that need two people on every trip, and unpacked drawers that slow the loading.
Long-distance moves inside Texas
For runs to Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Waco, Lubbock, or anywhere else in the state, the load is weighed and the price follows the weight and the mileage. Packing, if you want it, is added as a separate line.
The same crew that loads you unloads you. Nothing goes into a shared trailer or a transfer warehouse.
Where the distance calls for an overnight stop, the truck stays locked and the driver stays with it.
Deliveries to Houston and the coast are planned around the afternoon storms that roll in most summer days, so unloading happens in the morning where the schedule allows.
Managing the heat on a long haul
A closed trailer on a Texas highway in July gets hotter than the road. We pack candles, cosmetics, plants, and electronics in separate cartons and load them last so they come off first, and we advise leaving anything that melts in your own air-conditioned car.
We also plan early departures so the heaviest loading happens before mid-morning.
Apartments, houses, and everything between
Single-family homes usually mean a driveway, a garage, and easy truck access. Apartments mean elevator bookings, loading-zone permits, and long carries, so the estimate for an apartment accounts for that extra time honestly.
Townhomes with narrow stairwells and HOA rules about moving hours fall somewhere in the middle, and we ask about them up front.
What you receive in writing
Every job comes with a written estimate, an inventory taken at loading, and a copy of the scale ticket on weight-based moves. If the scope changes on the day because you found an extra room of boxes, we tell you before we load them.
